Writer / Director
Award-winning director Stephen Gyllenhaal’s productions include Paris Trout, for which he received a DGA Award for Outstanding Directorial Achievement in Dramatic Specials, as well as Waterland, A Dangerous Woman,Losing Isaiah and Homegrown. In 2012, he received a DGA nomination for Outstanding Directorial Achievement in Movies for Television for Girl Fight. Among his many television movie and mini-series credits are Living with the Dead, Time Bomb, A Killing in a Small Town, for which he received an Emmy nomination for directing, and the Emmy and Golden Globe-nominated Family of Spies. His episodic directing credits include Homicide: Life on the Streets, Twin Peaks, The Mentalist, Numbers, and Blue Bloods, among many others.
Stephen has just released his recent feature film Grassroots and is also in post-production on a documentary about dream interpretation titled Exquisite Content. He serves as chair of the DGA’s Independent Director’s Committee.

AEI has produced dozens of feature films and projects for television including Joe Somebody with Tim Allen, Life or Something Like It with Angelina Jolie and Ed Burns, The Madams Family (CBS) with Ellen Burstyn, The Lost Valentine (Hallmark Hall of Fame/CBS), with Betty White and Jennifer Love Hewitt, and Informant Media’s Hysteria, with Maggie Gyllenhaal and Hugh Dancy (Sony Picture Classics).

Kenneth J. Atchity
Chief Executive Officer of AEI, with more than forty years in the publishing world and twenty-five years in the entertainment industry. Atchity received his B.A. from Georgetown University and Ph.D. from Yale. Atchity was also International, chairman of comparative literature at Occidental College, Fulbright Professor of American Literature to the University of Bologna, co-editor and –founder of DreamWorks, and Distinguished Instructor in Fiction, Nonfiction and Screenwriting at UCLA Writer’s Program. He’s the author of seventeen books.
President and Chief Operating Officer of AEI. Before relocating to Southern California in 1992, she served as associate administrator of the Fort Lauderdale Film Festival. She has served as producer or executive producer on AEI film or television film projects and is currently supervising at least a dozen projects in development.
Ramos & Sparks Group, based in Tallahassee, is a business consulting and strategic planning firm with a combined 50 years’ experience in written and visual communications along with planning, marketing and outreach at the highest levels of Florida state government and the private sector. Both have been highly involved in political campaign operations and fund raising and are in negotiation to co-produce other film and documentary projects.
Richard A. Ramos
Director of Ramos & Sparks Group. His experience, spanning three decades, includes multiple senior leadership positions in federal and state government, with business leaders and with well-known sports figures from all around the country. In his capacity as Vice-President of Ultimate Sports Management, he was involved with athlete marketing and event planning and management for leaders from all sports including such prominent sports figures as Willie Mays, Pete Rose, Muhammad Ali, Terry Bradshaw and Dick Butkus.
Robert J. Sparks
President of Ramos & Sparks Group. His experience includes stints as a commercial television Producer and Director and as Executive Deputy Chief of Staff for the Governor of Florida and previously as chief spokesperson for the Attorney General of Florida. As Executive Director of Events for Minor League Baseball, he produced numerous shows involving entertainers such as Danny Thomas, Rich Little, Don Ho, Fred Travelena, Lou Rawls and the Manhattan Transfer.

Had the privilege of serving three U.S. presidents as a Special Agent of the Secret Service on the White House detail. After his resignation following John F. Kennedy’s assassination, he embarked on a career path as an expert in high-level corporate security. He retired in 2003 and now lives in Colorado with his wife of more than fifty years. The New York Times bestseller The Kennedy Detail was his lifelong dream.
Associate Producer / Author “The Kennedy Detail”
An award winning journalist who has worked for three major television news networks. In the aftermath of the attacks on 9/11, McCubbin provided compelling reports as a foreign correspondent in Saudi Arabia. In addition to co-writing The Kennedy Detail, she teamed with Clint Hill in 2012 to co-author Mrs. Kennedy and Me, the story of Agent Hill’s years as head of Mrs. Kennedy’s protective detail. The book became a New York Times Bestseller.
A former United States Secret Service agent who was in the presidential motorcade during the John F. Kennedy assassination. Hill remained assigned to Mrs. Kennedy and the children until after the 1964 presidential election. He then was assigned to President Lyndon B. Johnson. In 1967 he became the Special Agent in Charge (SAIC) of Presidential protection. When Richard Nixon came into office, he moved over to be the SAIC of the Vice Presidential Protective Division. In 1972, Hill was promoted to the position of Assistant Director of the Secret Service. He retired in 1975.
